FEES AND CHARGES SCHEDULE (NEW BOOKINGS) – 1/1/2018 to 31/12/2018

Daily Per Person Fees
|Daily and overnight fee||$33.00|
|Where the person resides in a caravan brought on to site
(in situations where all the physical accommodation is occupied)
|Day guests, being persons who do not overnight at Dzintari.||$10.30|
The per person fee applies to each person attending Dzintari, including (for the avoidance of doubt), all minor children. Infants less than three years of age are not included.
The minimum booking is 30 persons (80 persons on long weekends). If any camp has fewer than this number of campers, the daily per person fee applies to this minimum number.
Additional Facilities Fees
|Use of the kitchen and kitchen equipment, cool room, dishwasher, dishwasher cleaner fluid through automatic feeder system, ovens, lighting, exhaust fans, crockery, cutlery, kitchen set-up, electrical power associated with the forgoing. Includes use of BBQ facility||$100.00 per day (or part thereof)|
|Use of Activity Hall||$40.00 per day (or part thereof)|
The deposit of $250 is payable with the Booking Application. The deposit is not refundable. A booking is not confirmed (and may be cancelled) if the Deposit is not paid in full. The estimated number of persons attending the camp is to be advised with the Booking Application.
A key deposit of $20.00 is payable for each key issued to campers. The Key Deposit is returned when the key is returned.
Where the campers fail or refuse to properly carry out all required cleaning tasks the cleaning will be carried out by the Society at the camper’s cost, at the rate per cleaner of $90.00 per hour, charged in 15 minute blocks or part thereof, with a minimum charge of 3 hours.
Additional Services or Works
Where the campers fail or refuse to return the campsite to the condition it was in at the start of a camp or return equipment to its original place, the Society will carry out necessary rectification works at the camper’s cost, at the rate per cleaner of $90.00 per hour, charged in 15 minute blocks or part thereof, with a minimum charge of 3 hours.
Damages to Premises
Where damage is caused to the premises during a camp the person making the booking shall be responsible for the cost of repair or reinstatement, on a full indemnity basis. In addition, the charge for Additional Services or Works may apply (on the basis set out above), if the Society or its contractors are required to spend time arranging for the repair or rectification works to be carried out.
Fire Alarm Call-Out Fees
Any false alarm through carelessness or fault of a camper will give rise to a charge. The camper must pay the charges raised by the relevant fire alarm authority. Note, the use of aerosol sprays (hair-spray or deodorant sprays) in rooms may trip the fire alarm system, resulting in a call-out.
Excess Electrical Power Use
The Society will be responsible for the cost of electrical power for the campers, subject to compliance by the campers with the Terms and Conditions of Use and a reasonable use policy. If these are not observed, by for example and without limitation the use of separate blow heaters in dormitories or the erection of flood lighting, then the camper must pay for all electricity consumed during the camp that would otherwise be payable by the Society on a full indemnity basis.
Heater Gas Use
The Society supplies cylinder natural gas for heaters in the main hall, subject to a reasonable use policy. Any excess use, or careless use of the heaters will require the camper to pay for excess gas used, as reasonably determined by the Society.
The above fees and charges apply for use of the Dzintari campsite for camps and similar. Different prices and conditions apply for special events and functions.
The Society has effected and maintains public liability insurance. If an increased amount of cover is for required for a particular camp, then the amount of the increased premium is payable by the client, together with any other incidental charges necessarily incurred with the insurer or broker.
The Board reserves the right to change any hire fee or other charge, in its discretion, subject to the proviso that fees and charges for confirmed bookings within the current year will remain as set out in the Fees and Charges Schedule issued with the Booking Application Form.
